随着欧盟两个指令（RoHS/WEEE）的实施以及国内相关法律法规(电子信息产品污染控制管理办法)的出台及于2007年3月1日开始强制实施，电子电气产品中有毒有害物质的检测必须符合上述要求。SAE MSL 拥有完善的技术条件和资源，因应许多国际大公司的需要，较早地开展了此项研究和检测，积累了丰富的经验。实验室的RoHS检测已获得CNAS认可，并与TUV合作开展国际认可的RoHS检测，认证和相关指令咨询服务。

China RoHS: In China, the “Measures for the Administration on Pollution Control of Electronic Information Products” (China RoHS) was announced by the Ministry of Information Industry on 28 February 2006, and took effective from March .01 .2007. The corresponding industrial standards have been published in China as below indicate:
